- "I picked up the book after I had one final showdown with my (now ex) girlfriend. In the wake of relief mingled with exhaustion that usually follows the end of a relationship, I came across this book online. I laughed out loud, and thought to myself how the term “Wacko” was the perfect descriptor for my former better half. After reading the book I know it is. The author is great at getting inside the heads of all the crazy people I’ve ever known. I could recognize not only my ex-girlfriend, who is a skilled manipulator, but other people as well who have a knack for driving me crazy. Overall the book did a decent job of explaining what makes a Wacko tick and gives good advice for dealing with the crazy people in your life. And it was funny too."

- "….A great read…. I found this book to be a really insightful look into the minds of all the nuts I have met throughout my life. It is really relatable because we’ve all met people who tricked us into thinking they were normal only to be blindsided when they show their true colors. You should definitely consider reading it if you need some great advice on standing up to people who bully you around or treat you badly."

- "I found Eckert’s book to be really informative. She digs deep down in to the psyche of people who should be in therapy and explains how to beat them at their own game. She also talks about the importance of staying in control yourself when some Wacko lays into you. Overall it’s a pretty good read; entertaining, clever, and most importantly helpful. I would recommend that anyone who is dealing with a pest give it at least a flip-thru because there are lots of quick tips to teach you how to cope."

- "Great book! This book is a treasure trove for anyone at their wits end because of temperamental friends or acquaintances. I read it all the way through and could totally identify with the speaker as she told of the various “Wackos” she had met over the years. I work with one of the most hateful women I’ve ever known. She is young and arrogant and in constant competition with me. She thinks that everyone at the office should share her opinions on everything and that they should also live according to her timetable. Her attitude about work is especially funny since she never ever manages to come in on time. Anyway, this girl is the epitome of crazy. Her temper is mind boggling. One minute she’ll be as sweet as can be and really appear to bond with whomever she is speaking to. The next minute she pulls out the claws and burns that person with some hateful comment. The thing is, she thinks she is totally normal. It’s not the least bit strange to her. WACKO!!! After I read this book I understood a lot better about the way she behaves. Now I know that I don’t have to let her hurt my feelings. I followed Eckert’s advice and got a backbone and now my coworker knows better than to bring her attitude to my doorstep. I recommend that everyone read this book, because sooner or later one of these Wacko people will cross your path. "

- "Unlike most of the self-help books out there, Winning Against the Wackos in Your Life is really funny. The author takes a humorous approach to the problem of the insane people we have to deal with in society. This book could have been very dull and clinical, but instead its dripping with sarcasm and wit. I laughed my way through the chapters and still feel that I learned something at the same time."
